“Hi, I am Stacy Huxford and I have been creating and selling fine jewelry for the last 16 years. I started out designing and selling for stores like Zale’s, Whitehall Co., Roger’s and Holland’s and J.B. Robinson’s Jewelers, and over the years design and custom work quickly became my specialty.

In the last 5 years I have been honing those skills and doing the actual gold and silver-smithing myself. Most recently I have acquired the casting equipment necessary to be able to literally make anything you or I can imagine. It has taken a lot of years of joy and heartbreak to finally learn to create from the heart and without borders or restriction. I find that as I have grown as an artist I have also grown as a woman.

A great part of my journey these last few years has been to overcome the sense that as a woman, I have less value than a man. Growing up in a patriarchal society and a stifling church experience where women were not seen as the equals of men, I grew up with a sense of being less. Deep down in my soul I guess I always knew this to be false, but all around me I saw evidence to the contrary.

By finally seeing the Great Creator as having female qualities and the compassion of a Mother, I came to know great healing in myself. The Goddess I created is an expression of that love. The love I now have for myself and the love I have now for my creator that honors the sacred feminine. Her strength, sensuality, creativity and grace are an inspiration to me and a reminder that all women are beautiful, honored, sacred beings that reflect her deity in their own individual way.”

I currently have several Goddess pieces each symbolizing a different facet of the sacred feminine journey. My Goddess line can currently be seen at the metaphysical center located at 124 Main St. in Florence, Co.
